Nyangao Dr. Lindley G. DeGarmo

sovereignly Lindley Grant DeGarmo, an honorably retired minister of the Presbyterian Church (USA), is serving as Interim Pastor of Union Church while it negotiates the transition between the twenty-seven-year pastorate of the Rev. Dr. Paul DeHoff, who retired in June 2019, and the call of a new permanent pastor. He and his wife, Sarah Finlayson, are the parents of a daughter, Ellie, who lives in Manhattan.

Dr. DeGarmo earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Princeton University; a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs; a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, New York City; and a Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary.
