Union Church will resume in-person worship in the Sanctuary on Sunday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. Those attending should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early, so that there is adequate time to screen all attendees before worship begins and  please follow the instructions of the deacons who will greet you.  Please review this Reopening Letter  sent to our congregation for more details and what to expect.

For those of you who do decide to come, please understand that things must be very different from our norm in order for us to meet the New York State restrictions and guidelines. These, of course, are intended to promote safety as we worship together.  All those attending worship must wear a mask or facial covering, fitted properly over nose and mouth, throughout the entire service.

We realize that not everyone will feel comfortable attending an in-person worship service at this point in the pandemic. No one should feel pressured to come to church! Indeed, we encourage those of you who fall into the “high risk” category—60 years of age or over or with underlying conditions—to stay home and worship virtually. Your participation in and support of the church in whatever manner is comfortable for you is welcome and appreciated.
